All ROCKERS (Singapore) LPs and many other late 80's/early 90's Singapore/Malaysia hard rock & Heavy Metal albums I've been told.

Commercially they were only available on tape (and some later on CD) but the apparently made a run of about 50 vinyls each for radio stations, music biz people etc. Do we still have any Sin/Mal members here who could shed some light on this matter?

MISTREATER - Hells Fire

500 copies min.

Rellik was over 500, This was a custom Canada press. they would only do 1000 at a time not less.

Just because you dont see that many copies today doesn't mean they didn't press many back in the day.

I have been sell records for over 20 years now and I have had close to 100 copies of Rellik go throw my hands.

Mistreater was on every Hard Rock/Psych list in the 80's for $35-$50 it was very comman back then I saw boxes of these. When people started collecting metal in the 90's and heard this they started to dry up but even in 2001 I was able to get 10 sealed copies and the record still shows up on ebay every few months

About 10-15 years ago where some rumours about the BLACK KNIGHT EP !
They sayed that 220 pieces where pressed, but then someone found 280 pieces of it !
So the 220 Copies where only the sold ones !
I think similar cases could be possible on other ones too !

Another strange story is the one about MEDIEVAL STEEL !
In an Interview the band talked about at least 20'000 copies pressed !!!!!!!

It's not extremely hard to get, but i think still harder than many others which where pressed 500 times !

Does that mean: 15 known copies are circulating or listed and the others are in collections or 15 known copies are in collections an the rest is ???

Just wondering

And the regular print of Graven Image 12'' was 200.

"
Hierbei handelt es sich um eine der grössten US-Metal Raritäten die es gibt. Die Auflage beläuft sich unbestätigten Aussagen zufolge auf 200ex.
"

What's the story behind that Paradoxx vinyl? I've heard 50 once and 200 another time ...

I heard that the Paradoxx LP was pressed in bigger quantity, but only 50 copies survived, because the band was not satisfied with the material...

well, almost 50 copies are what is left, after the destruction..they destroyed the copies, just because the stick of the vinyl was put slightly wrong..

One can really wonder what the hell happened to the other copies, maybe another 15 are in collections and the others are maybe wasted, same goes for the others.

5 known Crowhavens and the others are gone. Maybe those 5 are the only 5 left of the initial pressing and the rest is wasted or the other 495 are in collections no one knows of or...(uhh back to work, Sten)

I'd say that most of them lay forgotten in attics / basements of people who used to listen to this kind of music in the 80s and accidentally got them in their hands ... And they don't have any idea about the value now :)

The press was for 1000 copies
The day of the release party they went to pick up the vinyl.
The labels on the records are messed up.

The band only took 50 copies to bring to the party and never went back to get the other 950 copies since now that they listened to it they really dont like the sound.

The pressing plant after 1-2 years of holding the 950 copies recycled the vinyl and put the covers in the trash.
