The Protectors of the lair although it is from the same ''records'' and with the same shitty packaging contains sadly no tracks.
it's time somebody, sometime, somewhere to start making bootlegs of october 31...
I don't think he'd give a shit if they did.
At least King Fowley's done more for Metal than just namedropping and jerking off about his record collection on the internet...

Yeah, I'll second this. I've never met King, but by all accounts he's a great guy who's into keeping true metal alive. And I have a little bit of inside information about Old Metal, and am pretty well convinced it's a labor of love, not a gold mine!
acid wrote:The IQ Zero 7" from Sweden... the song "Murderer" is great.. it's like.. well... very simple but cool HM from the 80's.. as pure as it can get. It's from a rip from Dan, right Dan? Any info on this band?
I.Q. ZERO's "Murderer" must be the ultimate example of "d.i.y.-Metal" charm. It's not from a single but from an old Pang Records compilation called "Pang I Bygget". Still available for download here btw.
I once tracked down an old bandmember and had a chat w/ him over the phone. I got the impression he didn't consider IQ ZERO his greatest musical achievement He was more interested in talking about some later commercial crap band he was involved in. "KISS ment the world to us back then!" was the only quote I remember verbatim. And no, they never recorded anything else that those 2 comp tracks.
Deep Switch - Lovers Of The Dream
Deep Switch - Silver Bullet
Shit, I've always liked nine inches of god a lot so I was pretty suprised when I read the two reviews about the album in their metal-archives profile.
In no way I can call this an average album and what kind of bullshit is this?
But it pisses me off so much that it's followed up with "Lovers of the Dream". How can you follow up a crunching and metal song with THIS malarky?! This song is what mainly makes this album lose megapoints. They have solid Heavy Metal songs, and then go and fuck it up with this loveballads.

Now listening to the whole Gotham City discography excluding the demos.
Man, is this band great or what.

Well, four tracks anyway. Belive me, they've really done it again
So far they've managed to outdo themselves on every new album and I was worried this 4th one would be that good-but-not-as-great-as-the-last-one but fuck no. Simply amazing and more original, sick & eerie stuff than ever awaits us in september/october!
