If this was Thrash records I would be tempted... and then I would not eat for like a month ;)

By the way, the listing started from 425 GBP, guess he had second thoughts :)

It's good to know that if I lose my job (for example for using the forums instead of working ;) ) I can sell this and live with the money I get for it for three weeks :)

He is a good seller so "good condition" might be a downgrade...

anyone wants to continue the discussion about how the economic crisis is affecting the prices? Insane! I got that one for like 25$ last year on the same site!

The funniest thing is the description...

"Disc has some short marks that don't affect play. There are some pale brown mold spots on the inside of both sleeves."

I can bet that the winner is probably russian. Most of them don't know English at all. They have won half of my auctions too... huge prices, I couldn't believe it ! Even with the outrageous shipping cost we have now in Italy (8.5 euro one cd ...).

Ps. Seems that the dear momojirou is plagued by mold spots, I bought an Exodus cd last year and same problem ! It wasn't even described, I didn't ask for refund plus no negative or neutral feedback, just to be a little bit more fair in description next time... result ? He banned my nick

Not so long ago there was a broadly shared opinion, that the japaneese have their CDs in great condition and, if something, they downgrade the description. I don't think that thesis stood the test of time. I don't usually buy from the japaneese (prices!!!!), but 3 CDs that I got from pricekillers were below Excellent.

On a side note, speaking about some national stereotypes, lately there have been quite a few Greek CD sellers with some nice original CDs! My favorite is raremetalcds13 - you could easily find many bargains on his auctions until he discovered international shipping option ;)

Bad news. I was the same opinion until now, because everything that i've bought from japanese sellers were in SUPER condition, like in description and most of times even better. Really old CDs from 80's and beginning of 90's in true mint preservation.

yes, some of japanese sellers are very nervous
if you want to continue to make business with them, it is better not to make any complain. :D :D (my account was also banned by a japanese seller after i ask partial refund for damaged item) as long as you don't make complain, they will be good seller for you.

if any of you are familiar with Yahoo Auction Japan, you know many sellers write a sentence as following in the item description, "NO Complain, NO Return"
