I have taken the plunge, dear friends. I am listening to what I can still find from this thread. Thrash Queen, Kuster (high expectations here!) and Overdeth.
Thrash Queen, up to No Way Home are clearly a result of a bad recording. The drummer can keep a beat, the guitarist-bassist play their Motorhead impression, the singer is alright. If it weren't for the strange sound this would be passable. No Way Home is an alright track! I even like the main riff in Retribution! The intervals played are clear, the muted parts register as mute... the point is, when you reconfigure your expecations of how HM is supposed to sound, this record is fine. I expect much much worse (better) from the mighty Kuster coming next.

Yes No Way Home is the best "song" there. I actually like their style, but the last half of the tracks are boring somehow
Kuster is as trashy as it can get. The vocals are unbelievable. Listen to the smurfs-high pitched echo on Love A Bit from their s/t single. wtf

I think I have one of the 2 songs off this crap record somewhere. I think Peter Daub own this record, I could swear he bought it off ebay.

I think they share a member or 2, but the "main Overdether" is apparently dead-serious, while the other guys just play along.
