I think, you are being too cruel towards Beowulf! Pretty good early metal with the closing 'The hounds of Tindalos' being a huge anthem!
There are 2 great Trax on that Beowulf LP and the rest is quite boring Hard Rock. They got even worse with Special Forces.

@Chatzial:
The Blitz sadly wasn't a 5 $ purchase. Just the rest from 5-10 $ ... but it's been years ago ...

Yes I paid more than $25, at that time I got the 7" in the mail, I guess it was 'stick it to the american' time.

But yes I went there the summer before the Olympics, 2002. A big part of the trip was travelling around Crete with a couple of days in Athens, then went to Germany for some metal festivals.
I had a great time! All the headbangers I met were really cool and friendly, I ate just some amazing food the whole trip there and the Women! Damn I saw some real beauties around. If I was smarter, at the time, I would have/should have come back and closed my affairs, put all my shit in storage for awhile and came back and stayed much longer....

I randomly snapped this photo and titled it 'the ones that got away', haha.

I don't think this is the Dutch Vengeance. Logo seems familiar.

I've never heard this one but the cover looks promising. What does it sound like? What year is it from? Where was the band located?

Illinois. Hard rock/metal, I think it's from 1984.

Interesting. I assume searching for this release would be tough with the Dutch band having a S/T release the same year.

Star Gazer is great and damn, i don't have it :(
I am not that much into German Metal :oops:
there are some records that i think are masterpieces but there were many releases that i can't stand,
for example, Exhaust have one of the worst singers ever with a horrible-horrible accent:
