Actually I think it's rather great once you give it a few listens. Certainly not on par with 1487, but much better than the rather lacklustre throwaway generic thrash of "The Lost Tapes".

I think The Lost Tapes is just as good as 1487. None of them are brilliant, but both are good. 7/10 stuff. I have given In Serenity and Awe plenty of spins, but in my opinion it's a big step down from the first two, both in style and quality.

I think there's quite a difference in style between all three. For me 1487 is about 8,5/10 and In Serenity and Awe about 7/10. The Lost Tapes barely worth mentioning but maybe 4/10.
