I just overstayed my Visa 2 weeks.... :D
I felt in love with Siberia and I didn't want to go out, then when I reached the border with Finland I started getting in serious troubles....fortunately a black priest who could speak italian in St Peterburg helped me a lot both for bureaucracy and findina a place where to sleep (in a convent, where I escaped from, on last night....) and....well....other stories involving hooligans and other adventures....

in any case, yes, Gorbushka shocked me for the incredible quantity of stuff we could find. I don't mind too much about bootlegs (I have to deal with money anyway) but I can't believe there's such freedom and liberty in making, selling and showing such huge quantity of illegal editions in Russia....

This one alone would make a great part of a movie
The black priest's part would fit to Morgan Freeman, for example.
The only thing missing is the love story, it would be excellent if you overstayed your Visa not because of falling in love with Siberia but falling in love with a Siberian hot girl (maybe a computer hacker or something else dangerous)
Man, i should have been a Hollywood producer.

oh well...but of course i overstayed my visa because of love with a siberian girl....well, actually there were more than one: Svetlana, Anya, Darima, Medegma, Evgenia and Tanya....let's say the truth, here in Italy I haven't great success with girls. Siberia was wonderful (I loved those freezing tempratures at -30/-50), all of my friends were into metal and punk and I found the hottest girls in the world....and they strangely appreciated me...

Transiberian twice, from St Peterburg and back...and that was also another great adventure ("love", friends....)......yes, definitively I found that Siberia, and Russia are going to be my new homeland.......

and the black priest looked like Morgan Freeman somehow...huge, a bit menacing......I'll send him some money as soon as I get my first salary next month....he helped me out much more than any human can do, you can't even imagine what kind of hell is the russian bureaucracy....
well actually my kind "hosting" at the central police office in St Peterburg wasn't that terrible....in 2 days and half I was always drinking coffee and tee with the guards....but of course I couldn't exit the place until my position was clear.
Don't mess with russian bureaucracy...I was lucky because somebody put this black priest on my way and he could speak italian (I want to sy God helped me or made a miracle but I know it sounds ridicolous...) but if he weren't there, I would probably be still there, wandering from one office to the other, probably would be in jail yet and anyway I could get a 5-years inhibition from russian territory...but he was in great confidence with the head at the police office so I really got a sort of miracle.....

but this trip was a sort of magic experience....my shaman girlfriend in Mongolia (a strange girl who could make rain in the desert and sleep completely naked for 1 week in the frozen wood at -60, she could read people's mind and kill people by distance....a real shaman, totally unbelievable for our western' rational minds)....all my hooligan friends in Ulan Ude, a colossal drunken night with the Orgazm Nostradamusa (the most famous punk band in Buriatya) singer, Trident live (so so...) and tons of stories I can't even believe...I wrote everything in my blog but it's in italian so it will be hard to resume 6 months of incredible adventures (yes, i traveled 8 years all around Asia but this time I experienced something I never experienced before except, maybe, last year in Nepal and Tibet...)........

yes, if I could come back I would overstay not only 2 weeks but 2 years....my last night in Ulan Ude...well, the hottest night I ever had in my life....maybe Siberia is cold (but I felt I like those -50!!!!) but siberians are the hottest girls in the world....

And a Transiberian from St Peterburg to Ulan Bator with only 130 US$.....if you have time and you're crazy enough, go there and experience it...you'll never forget it! And on the way back you can stop at Gorbushka in Moscow....

no, seriously.....not joking...she also showed me some reportages made by mongolian tv and magazines about her....i know it's hard to believe - for me too - but shamanisn in mongolia is something really, really serious...maybe in another section i will tell you more about this experience. I saw her "in action" a couple of times and...also my ex classmate now living in mexico confirmed that his mexican shaman friend has some strange abilities that we can hardly believe to

Warepire wrote:The Azintex bootlegs are really poor, on some CDs they are imitation-wise one of the sorriest attempts I have seen, I think I found 10 differences to the original, some quite major. (Yeah, I managed to get an Azintex bootleg recently :( comparison photos soon when the original CD arrives)
As promised, here is a comparison between the Azintex bootleg and the original of the album Leviticus - Setting Fire To The Earth on Pure Metal (A pointless bootleg too since the original CDs can go unsold for months)

Original pressing:

Azintex bootleg pressing:

Key differences for the lazy:
• Matrix is mirrored wrong and uses the wrong font
• Boxes around the track numbers are wrongly aligned
• The RM logo is wrongly colored and blurry
• Artist/Title is wrongly aligned
• Copyright information is in the wrong font and size
• What looks like reflection in the bootleg below the RM logo is actually a smudge in the color used to print the disc.

I compared the Azintex bootleg of Knights Of Heaven using their tiny stock photo and my original copy, it has similar errors.

Conclusion: The Azintex bootlegs are like bad jokes when you see them next to an original.

several years ago, ebay deleted such auction having the word "bootleg" in the title or description if people report it to ebay. but now it seems ebay doesn't care it. more easier for selling bootleg items and cheating people with shill-bidding as ebay hide the bidder's name.
