I'm so excited for their KIT appearance, hope the vocalist still can reach the high notes he used to sing on that amazing record.
They have to play "Light of a torch"!!!

Bad news to me.

PESTILENCE - Malleus Maleficarum
Could never get into any other of their albums, however this one slays. Perhaps the best vocal patterns Van Drunen ever sung.

You don't like "Consuming impulse" (which I prefer to their first one)?ION BRITTON wrote:PESTILENCE - Malleus Maleficarum

"M.M." is way more Thrash then their later works and the vocals ain't that evil as they are on "C.I." (in my opinion).

Well, I guess it's a decent album, but not one for repeated listens as far as I am concerned. On the whole I find the riffing on the debut more memorable and I don't mind its thrashier approach. Van Drunen's vox are not so harsh there, but the vocal patterns are just brilliant and greater than in any other Pestilence album. I really can't get into the stuff they put out after CI, especially Spheres.Nasty Uwe wrote:You don't like "Consuming impulse" (which I prefer to their first one)?ION BRITTON wrote:PESTILENCE - Malleus Maleficarum
