HAPPY NEW YEAR btw to all my fellow metalheads!
It's still more than a day away.

I plan on seeing Maiden too next year, and there are a few festivals that I'd like to go to in England, Holland and Germany. Not sure if I'll end up going to any of those though.

If I'm right, they will headline the Graspop fest in Belgium (with JUDAS PRIEST).

3 INCHES OF BLOOD w/ RAMMER + 2 other local bands here in Niagara Falls in february. In march I'm going to see IRON MAIDEN in Toronto. 2 days before the MAIDEN gig NUN SLAUGHTER are playing in Toronto. I might go check that out too.

130km away is a local gig as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah , I consider it also like that, but I've been in few +laces of europe last year, and I was amazed how people in some places didn't moved an inch to see gigs and just waited them to come to their hometown. I guess when there's lots of gigs to chose you just don't want to go to your neighbor city to watch a gig.

I was about to kick myself stupid for forgetting to buy a ticket before it sold out, but Satan favours the slow it seems so it's all sorted out now

I'm a little late with this, but I saw Slough Feg a couple of months ago on the first show of the tour they just finished! :?

You could tell the record collectors in the audience because they/we all started freaking out when the band played "Street Jammer", whereas everyone else just took it as another song....
