What's a 'liquid collector'?

In this context: liquid = to be solvent/able to pay.nightsblood wrote:What's a 'liquid collector'?
Is that this one?nightsblood wrote:Ah, gotcha. Yes, Andi is very liquid then- downright fluid evenMe, I'm stuck in the solid phase, so I don't think I'll be competing for this
I actually haven't come across any obscure singles that appeal to me in the past few months. Not a bad thing necessarily; I found a lot that I liked last year.
The full SHADOW single is now on Strappado's blog. I have mp3s of a demo recorded in 1982 by a Californian band called SHADOW, it might be the same band. I don't really remember what the demo sounds like; I'll have to pull up the files tonight and compare them. I don't know where I found the demo tracks; they may be posted on Strappado too.
It's listed as hard rock/metal in John's book, so it should be in that vein, yes.lunaboy wrote:http://www.aor-fm.com/bands/365_the_heritage.aspx
But this 7" inch released a bit earlier so music direction might be a bit different.
The Heritage on Ebay is Post Electric Eels, the Hard Rock band. NOT the AOR band. The guy selling this on Ebay is from the band and if you look through his feedback you can see him selling these and Electric Eel LP's along with some Pic's for the past few years. Yes 300 press BUT he had most of them and had been putting them on pretty regular in the pastnightsblood wrote:Keir- yep, that's the one. I think it's a 4-track demo (still haven't dug it out yet, busy weekend)
DOn't know anything about Heritage
A second, later DEAD SILENCE 7" has turned up on ebay. The sound clips indicate they went in a weird left-wing hardcore direction, so I don't think it has much in common with their solid 'The Long SIlence Is Over' single, which contains the killer 'Can't Stop Us' as heard on Glockose's radio program post last year. The new single's lyrics and paperwork seem obsessed with animal rights- weird change of direction. Could be a completely different band, but both singles are from COlorado bands and only 2 years apart I think, so I'm guessing it's the same act, maybe with some lineup changes
Female fronted US Metal...for 1994 it's absolutely Metal! One track is even classic Power/Speed!Khnud wrote:http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT
Heritage (US) - Metal Star / Wild In The Streets 7''
Apparently only 300 copies pressed. Is this any good?

I think I'll keep my hands off of it, too many liquid collectors now know about it.
