I'm seldom knocked out by modern bands, but the opening track from the debut EP by my fellow countrymen in The Zealous Chieftains is so enjoyable.

DOWN - Over The Under
Not my go-to Down album, but nonetheless it's still a very strong record. I like it far better now than i did when it came out in 2007. High time they stopped dicking about with their (vastly inferior) day jobs & finally gave us a long-overdue full-length follow-up.

This oldie randomly popped up in my head earlier in the work-week, and I can't for the life of me figure out why. Maybe guilt for seldom returning to the more classic 80's Thrash stuff? Probably had the vinyl for 20+ years and for some reason hasn't put it on for at least 10. Shame on me coz it's bloody great and "Mistress Of Pain" is on while writing. Thank you, Rockbox!
