Just been listening to Freedom's Rise again, & now Amal & O of H have changed their avatars to the two different covers. Bloody hell!

ELECTRO HIPPIES - Killing babies... demos. Classic crusty stuff, especially the second demo of '87. "Satanic Warmonger Of The Abyss" is quite possibly one of the coolest songtitles ever 8)

Should i continue listening to them or watch some trashy violent Charles Bronson flick now? Fuck, i'm really confused, maybe i'll do both at the same time :?

I saw CYNIC live in Paris last week, I'm very deceived, they've ruined the myth. The sound was horrible, I've rarely heard such an awful sound (even VENOM in 1982 has a better sound), the "Death Metal" voice was sampled.
One of the worst gig I've ever seen !!

Nevermind. If I'd seen that gig I'd probably be crying now. but I'm still giggling and Focus still blows my mind. Tested.

I think they lost the source of inspiration + they're afraid to do sth more agressive. Vocals on Focus were not particularly DM ones, but still very cool. I've listened to tracks of their last project (forgot the name) and it was pretty in that New Age realm (tempted to quote DaN's words from one review). Well, it's hard to get back once you're used to do crap. Still, if they will release new album, I think it will be good enough to listen to ... occasionally.
