Yes, this is the 91 version on Laserlight (with different artwork, title & song order) ... same with Necronomicon - The Devil's Tongue, which is in fact Escalation (excellent album!

Never heard of this one. Bandname sounds more like Glam/Poser crap, or is it any good? What is the title of this record?

No, it's not Glam/Poser crap..it's Metal! Hard Luck is from USA, and the title of the record is:TAKIN ON THE NIGHT, it's a MLp, and it was released in 1988(Scream)

cool thread- thanks to those who posted pix of their rare items. Some of those I've never seen before.
I own a few nice items but nothing worth mentioning- I'm small time compared to most of y'all

Probably the items that have the most sentimental value are my Armoured Angel cd's, vinyl, and shirts. Great band that got completely overlooked; I managed to help them get an interview in Metal Maniacs years ago but they were already split up. It was still nice to see them get a lil' press in the US. I still have some replies I got from Lucy when I wrote them and ordered stuff.
On to the question of "would you ever consider selling your collection?" that someone asked.... yeah, i would consider it at some point. I've sold off several hundred cd's, LPs, and singles in the past few years. The price for metal vinyl continues to skyrocket and I can't afford to purchase most of the items on my want list, so it seems kinda pointless to pursue them as a hobby anymore. I can't even remember when I last scored an orig. copy of one of the big items on my wantlist. I'm content to hear stuff on mp3, cdr, or repress. Even if I had more money to spend on music nowadays, i don't know that I could get hundreds of dollars of enjoyment form a single record, no matter how good and/or rare it is. Years ago i spent ~$250 on a single and, even though it was good, I never enjoyed it all that much knowing that I had paid so much for it ($250 was a fair price for the item and I could afford it at the time, but paying so much seemed to suck some of the fun out of getting it).
Also, I had some expensive items stolen from me a year or so ago and that's really soured me on the idea of spending lots of money on records. Since then, I've moved my vinyl to a more secure location, but that also means I never get to take 'em out and play 'em, so they just sit in storage, which is another reason I've lost my enthusiasm for spending big bucks on vinyl.

This isnt by monetary (cost) value. This is my favorite music that I own, thats on the rarer side. I dont want to spend a long time writing out stuff like Black Sabbath - s/t, JP - Sad Wings Of Destiny, etc., but that stuff would be up there too.
Some of this stuff is a lot more common then other stuff (Breaker, Savage Grace, Titan Force, etc), but this whole thing by sentimental value. Some of the collection stuff listed includes vinyl among other things. The ones with absolute highest sentimental value are the records from Purgatory, Mistreater, Terror, Dofka, Legend, Ritual and Coven.
Mistreater collection - "Swami" and "Hells Fire" LPs, 7", both Scarum/Scarem 7"s, unreleased demo tape
Purgatory collection - "Tied" LP, "Tied" Testpressing LP (pre-Mixdown!), S/T Ep, "Tied" cassette, Dr. Pain demo tape, live and studio tapes, random magazine clippings/photos (some signed), original "Purgatory" logo iron on made in 1985 (I have a picture of Greg Perry wearing one of these in the studio), other random shit
Legend - From The Fjords LP (original)
Dofka collection - original Toxic Wasteland (CD, LP), Toxic Wasteland re-release (signed), "The Secret Trax" unreleased instrumental album burned for me by Jim in 2004, both Psycho Scream tapes, both Brick Mistress tapes, both This Tortured Soul albums, random other Dofka/Scot-related shit
(I still need the RAMPAGE tape, desperately!)
Coven - Worship New Gods LP
Black Hole - Land Of Mystery LP
Ritual (Bel) - S/T (signed by deceased bassist Rayme Roobaert)
Arc - War of The Ring 7" (w/ flyers, photos, etc...thanks Chris!)
Darkified - Sleep forever 7"
Blood Of Christ - I.N.R.I. 7" (white vinyl)
Nightcrawler - Soldier In Time LP, press pack with poster and glossy band photo, S/T CD and all compilations theyve appeared on
Cirith Ungol - One Foot In Hell LP
Brocas Helm - Into battle LP
Savage Grace - Master of Disguise LP
Breaker - Get Tough! signed LP, with tons of stickers, flyers, glossy band photo, and other shit
Titan Force - S/T LP
Medieval Steel - S/T
Jagged Edge - both 7"s
Hell - Save Us 7" (w/ promo booklet...thanks Chris!)
Dark Quarterer - S/T LP
Centurion - Cross And Black
V/A - collection of Cleveland Metal Comps...
Cleveland Metal LP (first press with alternate logos on back cover)
Cleveland's Heavy Metal: Etched In Steel LP (still on its way in the mail)
Northcoast Steel: Cleveland HM 1988 LP
Distant Thunder: Sounds Of The Cleveland Metal Storm
Heavy Artillery (cassette)
Convicted To The Avant Garde (cassette)

Rocker- nice singles! I've always thought that MARZ single has the coolest sleeve design ever! I LOVE that lil' guitar-playing alien! I don't own a copy, but i did get someone to make me a T-shirt with the design on it using a good scan of the sleeve

Thanks! =)
Haha, yeah that cover is brillian.

When I'm thinking about it I need a to make a shirt of this band too. The backside of the cover is also very useable for a shirt!
