Heatens from the north : what's more epic than that?

And withold saving cash on it, what?!
Starblind is probably the closest to being slightly epic on the album, the rest are just progressive, folky and mostly just plain long songs.

I support those two man, excellent tracks. Though the Asia one is the only to be anywhere close to metal. The album is pretty good overall.

I fervently hyped them here a while back and I still think the recordings of this amazing post-ACT/VERDICT/AKT/ZANITY-crew are currently The Most Reissueable Metal Band around.
Here's an instantly playable reminder of their Godly Epic Glory:
MASTER MASSIVE - Hymn To Yellowhawk

That was excellent! I've missed this one totally, though I know some of the bands you mentioned there have been for download here. What's the story on it?

This thread is great! I don't know if you have already referred to the great swedish band Parasite. Their EP is awesome, but here I would like to talk about a song from their 1983 demo, its name is "Glimmering Steel". A bone-crushing title and an epic feeling which is at least enchanting!
Another great epic metal song comes from the US band Sound Barrier, I'm refering to the outstaning "Gladiator".
