I have it all!!! Skeletons on label, logo on backcover and an insert, that happens to be smaller than usual inserts (usually inserts are almost 30x30 cm. Insert in my CU frost and fire is 26x26 cm)!!
I have the second pressing, and it came with the same smaller insert.

A few days ago, I finally got my hands the Paul Chain's Detaching From Satan Ep -First Pressing, minus any inserts. What puzzled me, is that there are stickers on the record's label and on the back cover, with the song's titles. I did a small search on the web, and found out that these stickers were placed by the label, due to a manufacturing error.
Is this true?

Yes. The song order was originally printed incorrectly. The stickers correct this.

They really knew which tracks were the best of each band.

About a month ago, I got some Russian 80's metal from some guy in Lithuania, via ebay. Classic stuff, so to speak, Aria - Playing With Fire, Master - s/t and Cruise - Cruise-1.
The LPs play fine, but the sleeves's paper quality is, well, a bit unusual. The paper is thinner and lighter, not the usual caardstock quality, and not glossy. The Aria LP in particular, looks like a photocopy!
Has any of you encountered anything similar regarding these records, or other Melodia releases? Could these be bootlegs?
If I had not paid close to peanuts for these, I would be angry, not simply puzzled....

It's very common that sleeves of Russian LP's are printed on toilet paper. Almost every sleeve is in this material.
So don't worry about that sleeve being a photocopy. It's meant to be that way.

Note that most of the more common Melodia-releases came in several different pressings (ARIA, KRUIZ, MAGNIT, MASTER, the Panorama comps etc..). The same album can be found with both a thicker, glossy cover as well as a thinner unglossy one.
Another funny detail is the abyssmal printing quality. The odds of ever finding 2 copies of the same album with exactly the same colors are about the same as finding 2 identical popcorns..

Hello my friends!!
I have a problem regarding Manilla Road- Out of the Abyss!!!
What is the original first pressing from Leviathan records?
I have a copy with black labels and a black insert with lyrics and merch, but I have seen copies with white labels and white sheets and a photo of the band!!

Did the Rock Brigade issue of the DESOLATION ANGELS LP come with an insert of any kind? Also, is it considered a legit release or bootleg??
