ICE released in 1979 a great prog rock LP which is very rare now (costs around 300 $). You can listen a bit here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQkHzEAVOfs. Great '70s prog, just don't expect any metal elements. DICKENS is the band 2 of the ICE members had in the '80s.doomedplanet wrote:Never heard of Ice nor Geneva. Is Geneva the red cover? I never heard the Idol Rich or the Glasgow lp either though I've seen them
I'm proud to say I don't have that Damascus mlp, I never liked it.
Yes, Geneva is the red cover. I am trying to find any collectors that know this one. I tried to locate the band but nothing so far. Great melodic hard rock/metal.
Idol Rich sound more American than British, great release. Give a listen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkBHw4lDGtk
Glasgow's first release, much better than anything the released later.

Actually it is not a live bootleg. As soon as they started being famous, belgium based Flash records released their early demos as "First Strike" LP.Nasty Uwe wrote:It's a quite rare live bootleg, Markus (Iron Force Rec.) is selling it for 80€.The Knell wrote:whats with the def leppard? i though any def leppard is bargain bin rarity wise
I like the coverart with that "lumbering-leopard-pad".
They were given by their early producer/manager. Band or band's label never gave permission for this release and it was withdrawn. I think that most copies that were already sold before the withdrawal must have been sold in the States.
There is actually one more Def Leppard vinyl that has the same title, the "First Strike" 7" single. This one was released in the '90s, if i remember correctly.
Original Sin is NWOBHM 2 song 12". Both songs are greatAstra Wally wrote:Nice pics Chatzial !
Need that Def Leppard & Omega badly...

Flash records is basically Mausoleum records.
Indeed, most were sold (a lot were sent to Japan if I'm right) before withdrawal and confiscation...I heard some were destroyed too.
My favorite Leppard material with the 79' ep.
Pretty rare record, even in Belgium...
edit: Original Sin is quite good...thanks for the links
