XIPE - Fly Of Phoenix (1986) Italy
Very odd band but credit where it's due, there are some great 'out there' ideas on this & the guitarist in particular plays an absolute blinder. 'Day Of The Endless Sin' somehow manages to remind me of 'Angel Rat' era Voivod (pre-'Angel Rat' era Voivod), The Doors & The Police (!), and still finds the time to be a wistful piece of Epic Metal.
That's quite a lot of musical ground to cover in under 4 and a half minutes, but somehow they pull it off.
