The post-LE is kinda neat, though from the description I'm guessing it sounds nothing like LE

Re; psych collecting prices.... well, some metal records are already that high  Seriously though, I kinda doubt we'll see a large number of metal records go up in price to those kind of levels. I may be way off here, but I've always gotten the impression that psych collectors are a relatively well-off bunch and that metalheads are pretty poor. I know that's a broad generalization (coughcoughAndi), and someone like Glockose who has a lot more insight into both metal and psych buyers can give a much more informed opinion than I can. Regardless, I'm always struck by the large number of metal collectors who cannot or will not pay more than $50 max for a record. The number of metal collectors willing to go over $100 is even smaller, and continues to shrink as you go up in price. Thus, I don't think you'll see tons of $1,000+++ metal records because i don't think there are enough metal collectors willing/able to pay that much and prop up those kinds of prices for a large number of different albums. I think (and again, maybe I'm wrong) that there are more psych collectors AND more of them that are able & willing to pay big bucks for rare items.

But hell, I could be dead wrong. If you told me 4 years ago that people would be paying $50+ for basic Iron Maiden and Motorhead records i would've said no way

I have the reissue of this, it's a great record. Talked to a Swedish psych collector a while back who saw a mint condition gatefold edition at an auction house sell for more than 6000 euros.
Is that the Akarma reissue? I have that version and apparently even that goes for a fair price

I still don't believe it 's real!
Labels and cover are exactly like the original, but vinyl seems so new in my eyes!

Prices for the Akarma are probably going up even further. Dark's music appeals to a relatively broad selection of collectors.

Is this the same copy that was on ebay some weeks ago, for "buy now" option only?
Maybe the seller realized that he may not get that much money as demanded so he decided to turn it into an auction?

I think that copy was in greece, not certain though

A few copies of this have trned up in the past year, so that may start to bring the price down a tad

My guess is that Dave had some extra Vixen labels and covers kicking around and decided to throw one or more together when he was dabbling in splash vinyl in the 90s.
