The real shit is that the sealed records are not seldom slightly or extremely warped after 30 years being shrinked. I do not like to buy such record (I mean ss records) because it could turn into a real I-threw-the-money-out-of-the-window-thing.
I even got ss records that inside had a totally worn/bend or even brownish insert and all such things. So the ss stuff doesn't always have to be the best method. If there's already a brownish (originally had to be white) looking insert who knows what other mushrooms are inside the sleeve. If the cat doesn't wanna touch it there's something wrong with it ...

Sure, only if stored not properly. If you buy first hand from a collector then it's mostly pristine. Many are of course warehouse finds, don't like to take that risk either and prefer to buy opened/seldom played records.

You should contact Glockose first as he prohably has a copy of the 7" left and is maybe interested in a house part in Peru. The advantage for you would be you can listen the records first and prohably get a cheaper price ...

Regardless, I think it's a pity that the clip linked in the Tora Orphan auction is the merely ok side and not the absolutely stellar "Don't stand in my way". Easily one of the best metal songs out of the US released on 7'' format.

I wanted to post this too with the serious question, who are these psychos who place a bid on such stuff? I see the greatest german indie vinyls for lowest prices daily on ebay with noone who places any bid and that SHIT is at 127 $ with even a soundclip posted. Does it get even worse than Wheelz of Steel? Even Dark Ages MLP is better than this and they belong to the worst Metal bands on the whole planet ...
