Information for Osmi Putnik and everyone who might be interested in this specific question. I found an old topic: http://www.thecorroseum.com/phpbb2/view ... 265#137265
...and confirmation that Avenger was right. Here's the scans of those "very rare" 9 titles of Mausoleum Classix CDs. I am sure now it's absolutely clear - bootlegs!

At the time of posting that message I had only seen the Steeltower disc but since then have seen all of the others and again they are clearly bootlegs. The sad part is these were mainly being sold by Pure Steel Records

I am fairly certain that label is legal, they have done several reissues of big label releases (probably for the Argentinean market), they have also some signed some bands on their own, mainly Argentinean ones, and they have made some remastered reissues of demos by Argentinean bands.

I need to see the actual disc. Not an entry on music sammler.

Just to add, I'm pretty sure that Slimline is a bootleg. It's obviously not a Japanese manufactured disc like all of the others in the series.

This is a bootleg as i know (not bootleg like replica, rather like unofficial release like Reborn classics or Hot Metal...), you have original MFN press with barcode and MPO matrix number

This looks like an official US pressing to me but it's not the first Music For Nations pressing. I have a copy of that and it's quite different. The only similarity is the CAT Number.

All "Manowar records" pressings are bootlegs. And that goes for both CDs and the vinyl edition. If i remember correctly they were pressed in the '90s and they were advertised as "private" releases but in fact they were just bootlegs.
Trust me i collect Manowar both on vinyl and CD for many years.

The disc shown was pressed in the early 90's in a legitimate manufacturing plant.

I did not say that it was not printed in a legitimate manufacturing plant.

"Manowar Records" never existed. It is a bootleg. I was collecting all Manowar and Manowar related vinyls and CDs at the time it was released and i can say to you that it was a bootleg release.

Edit: You can check this page (if you don't believe me):
http://www.manowar-gallery.com/Gallery/ ... gland/CDs/

This guy has almost all the edition of Hail to England CD.
The "Manowar Records" may seem legit but it is not.

I've seen that website before. It's from a third party so it's subjective.

You do realize that I never gave an indefinite answer, right? All I'm stating is that the disc itself looks to be official and I have come to this conclusion based on where the disc was manufactured. Another reason I find it hard to believe that this is not an official pressing is because this same "Manowar Records" label exists in 3 different pressings all of which appear from the musik sammler entries to be manufactured at different legitimate pressing plants. Sonopress, Disc MFG Inc and U.S. Optical Disc were/are all legitimate companies that from my knowledge only press(ed) CD's officially after the required copyright paperwork is/was provided.

The only aspect that sets off warning bells for me is the fact that these pressings almost share the same CAT Number with the Music For Nations press, which does not make sense to me. I do not want to point the finger and say this is automatically a bootleg but something does not seem right.
