No worries, and sorry if it seemed like I was biting your head off, that was not my intention. I just see more and more auctions trying to hype the item with lines like, "Not seen on ebay in ___ years" or "only the second time ever to appear on ebay" and it just bugs me. But I guess lots of people fall for it.
Hey, I have a copy of KING SWAMP's s/t LP. There are no copies on popsike, maybe I should advertise it as "FIRST TIME ON EBAY!". Wonder if anyone would notice the multiple BiN copies for $4-5? :D

This reminds me the story of Artisan: Through till dawn LP that took place about 1 year ago.
That guy who writes in metalpage, Vaggelis, wrote a review for this LP, making it to sound like the most rare LP on the planet! It even gave it a rarity scale "6 - Outstanding metal gem"
Two weeks later sells a copy of it on ebay for 500$.
A week later the review changes and becomes a Rarity 5 :P
Oh yeah, similar things happen regularly. I've noticed on several occasions that people will start rating the Sale Price of the copies archived on popsike during an auction in order to try and influence bidders. For example, let's say another copy of Zaxas gets listed today. The seller can go to popsike and rate the two previous sales (both well over $1,000) as being a Good Price for the Buyer. This makes potential bidders think those copies sold kinda cheap, and they should bid at least that much if not more! But any potential bidders can also rate the Price as Good For Seller. This makes other potential bidders think those two copies were too expensive and that they should bid less than that amount, thus reducing the likelihood of someone outbidding you. You gotta be really careful with how you interpret popsike data.

The moral of the story- never use polls/wikis as price guides :D

I guess that is an info sheet that the label sent to the radiostations along with the 7"...still the price is ridiculous! It is the same kind of release as it was the Osmi Putnik singles or the Crna Udovica single or any other 7" from that time. Since they did not have any special non-album tracks nor a different cover, they are absolute useless items for collectors....

It happened to me as well today. One of the LPs he's selling that I had on my watch list has turned into a cassette recorder. Wtf? :?:

Regarding Vaggelis hyping that record, can't help but think he's full of shit, as he's mentioned buying every damn colour variation of records available, and then just selling them off later. I'm sorry, I don't get that, especially when someone says well I'm a COLLECTOR, I HAVE to... Yeah you had to buy them so you could sell them for more later, whatever.

This, and the fact that some of his items sell at ridiculous prices, is definitely proof that something fishy is going on.

if the seller didn't sell his $1000 piece outside of amazon, the fees probably killed him

If you mean vangelis is full of shit i would suggest you tone down your attitude a bit about people you dont know,i think theere is no reason to be like that towards fellow metalheds and i can assure you vangelis is one, regarding the fact that someone has decided to sell off his records and look for obscurities that can find nowhere on the net and then resell them is something that is beyond criticism,as everyone is free to do whatever he likes as long as he does not harm others,i apologise for the inconvenience but things had to get settled,no bad feelings

You are not talking about the same guy.

When Apollo Ra mentionted Vaggelis he meant Corroseum member called vxn123.

Daniel is propably talking about another Greek collector with a different username but his first name is also Vaggelis.

what's the problem with ARTISAN and its ''fake'' rarity....if Daniel know many copies of it then I am willing to buy them all...
