Right, different band. That Silent Rage did appear on the KNAC Pure Rock comp though (don't know if it was exclusive, they didn't even qualify as hard rock to these ears).

From the fanzine thread:

Noticed that the name Jonas Tancred apperared on both Kristianstads Rock compilations - writing credits for Power Rain and Ironside. Since you mentioned Power Rain's eventual heavier future musical direction and the sheer greatness of Ironside I just wanted this mentioned. Are there any inlays with more info? Will Ironside surface on a future Corro-comp?

By Thor it seems you're right on the money. Comparing my hi-res scans of the lineup pics it looks like it's basically the same band. Embarrasing how I missed that... Info added.

I actually spoke with Jonas over the phone some years ago and he was very glad to hear people had discovered & enjoyed that old track. I later got 1-and-a-half rehearsal track from Ironside in the mail. Gotta dig those up asap...

Metal Massacre 4

Is there an LP version of THRUST's Fist Held High that contains "Destructer"?
I think it's an exclusive track for the comp.

You're right it wasn't on the vinyl version. It was a bonus track on the cassette version so, while it still was not exclusive, we should add that to the comments. Thanks.

Fixed.

...and finally some compilation updates! Next is hopefully a few new zine-uploads. (This is the craziest part of the year for me jobwise, hence the sporadic page/forum-attendance..):
