VENDETTA "Search in the darkness" CD (re-release 2006 by King Foo Rec.)

Actually I'd like to have both on vinyl but since I'm not willing to pay big money I've choosen those media.
I'd like to know if that Vendetta CD is a legal release. It was brought up here a while ago and I don't think anyone was certain.
It should be an official re-release, since it has been done by a bigger management firm (including NIGHTWISH, AMORPHIS etc.), so I don't think they are into any bootleging.

NECROVORE "Abysmal plains of Hell" CD

(including Demo, lyrics, band pictures, live gig 1987 and studio version of "Slaughtered remains")

It's a bootleg, I know, but since there is no official release yet I had to grab this one (it is well done so there is no reason to regret this purchase).

outlawrecordings wrote:I recently found a 12" EP by a band called American Angel, which I did some research on, seems like they were from NJ. Anyways, it's a 4 track acetate in a custom made sleeve which is fully signed! Pretty killer hair metal/hard rock stuff, and it was only $6!

This is the band, though there is no mention of this EP so it was probably a one off thing made in the studio or something!?

They are still around, although with the singer pretty much the only original member left. Not a bad hair metal. Their S/T 1989 CD fetches good bucks on eBay.
Interesting they're still going! I gave this a couple spins so far, it's got some catchy tunes on it.
Avenger wrote:I don't think the band is really that unknown. I mean, they had a professional video clip that I've seen on old Headbangers Ball footage.
Yeah, I didn't say they were unknown, I just said I couldn't find info on this release so it must have been a one off acetate cut in the studio.

Evil Thrash Metal, that excactly hits my taste of that kind of music.
Unfortunately it is very rare (according to Metalpage).

How much did you spend if I may ask?

Uh, $15 seem to be a bargain.
Great find, hope I can call this my own someday too.

The music is quite cool, but I LOVE the bandname/album title and coverartwork.
It's funny how foreigners do "see" us German people.

Yep, it's a really hilarious album, simply because stereotypes are usually funny. :D

Too bad they haven't released any more albums, but with a name like that they couldn't have done anything seriously.

Oh. no.

This record may have been some what ahead of it's time but not in a good way.

The 1992 album is even worse.
