Awful lot to pay for something you're never gonna open :D

Sealed Salems Wych is up to $355, or about $50 more than opened copies in nice shape sell for

DOn;t have a link handy, but there's a copy of 'Painkiller' up to $119; I thought this was maybe a $40 record at best? Private listing so I can't see who's bidding, but 31 bids by only 5 bidders suggests Bid War

Some nice, rare Misfits colored vinyl's been selling, but those always bring big prices, and I don't know if folks hereabouts are into them or not

I love 'em- one of my 5 favorite bands of all time- but I don't own a single original record of theirs :( Their stuff has always sold for insane prices, and there are a ton of bootlegs to watch out for. If I were to ever win a lottery or get 'stupid rich', I would focus on putting together a damn nice collection of Misfits vinyl. Until then, I'll stick to CDs

I like how the sellers terms state that he expects payment in 48 hours, yet he will take up to two weeks to ship the record...

Whats up with the price for Painkiller? I have a mint copy I bought for like 1 euro. And I have seen a huge amount of these for about the same price.. Who bids over 100 dollars on a record like that, haha.

So far I’ve only seen this LP appeared on ebay once. Too bad I don’t have that kind of money. :(

I'm sure some of the bidders haven't read the description yet.

Most likely but I also feel the seller should have put COVER ONLY in the auction title

I think that's the 2nd time this is being offered. Last auction also went very high, and I can only assume that the winner found out about it being the cover only after the auction closed. So I'm guessing the previous winner opted out, item is being offered again, and the same thing happens!
