I don't know if this the right place to post. I just go ahead anyway.
As the goddamn volcano in Iceland still spewing ash and the airspace in most parts of Europe being closed down, I reckon that the international shipping services over there are affected too. I’m living outside of Europe continent and I’m about to order a couple of CDs from Underground Symphony Italy. Is it not a good time to send my orders now? Should I wait for the dust to settle down? Perhaps some folks in the Europe can tell me the situation over there. Thanks.
Nobody knows much, as this situation emerged a couple of days ago. But it looks simple - all airmail services must be affected, and there will be delays. And Italy has the crappiest postal services anyway even without the volcanic ash
According to forecasts 45-60% of air traffic should be restored tomorrow and on Wednesday, while on Thursday normal air services will be restored.
