Aeon (Cro) - Clean Hand Of The Eternal Gods

Post by roihlem »

Since there seem to be a lot of Nocturnus fans, I decided to upload this. This demo was recorded in 93 and was probably the most original technical yet melodic Death Metal band at that time in Croatia...This demo received a lot of amazing reviews, so enjoy!

Yes, I think they recorded also a demo before that one, but that is said to be in the normal brutal US Death Metal vein.

After the "Clean Hand Of The Eternal Gods" they recorded "Ephemeral" in 1996, which should have been released as a CD, but never was...I prefer "CHOTEG" but this one is also good...
Here you can download that album...Just click on "Full Download"...

I've just listened to the Clean Hand... demo & I'm now onto Ephemeral. This is all extremely impressive stuff. Thank you roihlem.

EDIT; Now I've listened to the whole of Ephemeral I must agree that Clean Hand is the superior release. Their later work seems to use too many widdly prog clichés & unpleasing keyboards sounds. It's still listenable, though!

Listened to the demo a few times by now, and I'm really impressed with it. Really well written and proficiently played stuff. Thanks!

Well, to be honest, the music reminds me more the melodic Death-Metal of the old swedish glories than NOCTURNUS, but I like this demo anyway. It's not cheesy at all and very well-done, for sure.
