POWERLORD

Post by Trigger »

Not sure whether a similar topic already exists or not,but that's a question bothering me and some friends of mine for quite a long time.....Does anyone has any info about the almighty Powerlord("The Awakening")??I mean, there MUST be a demo available somewhere with unreleased material. What about their live performances?Any info would be highly appreciated.....

Awesome album. All I've ever known from them was the EP that they released.

Oh, and I still remember that crazy auction that one of the bands old merchandise shirts went for on ebay a while back.

The question is more music related so the topic can be moved to Into Battle

Not for me, too slow ^^

They are kind of opposite of Powerlord, they should have put something else in the cd :P

I think the reason those two were put on CD together is because the label couldn’t justify two separate releases for each band when they both only put out an EP.

Are you referring to Andre Koch's auction abot a year ago?

That could be the one.

If that's the one (I wanted it badly, but it went for over 60€ as I remember), then I don't think that it was from the band's old merchandise (if they had any at all), cause Andre wrote "org. shirt" to the ones that were original - from the bands - and just shirt to the rest, for which I believe that were fan made. It was a killer shirt nevertheless.

The one I'm talking about was an original merch shirt and went for several hundred dollars.

I don't understand people paying huge money for fan made shirts. You can easily make any band shirt you want now of days for cheap either yourself or by taking a print out of a band logo to one of those "custom" t-shirt shops. I'm guessing they have those in Europe as well, right?
