It's a pure (hard) rock LP with 70s vibes, no metallic traces to be found on that one, some like it though, but "Mythology" is much better. Imo of course!

And that price tag may just be a tiny bit over the top as well

First Northwind album is not metal and is really awful, in my very humble opinion that is.

I wouldn't call it awful. It's decent, primitive & raw hard rock. I like the instrumental title track a lot. Would I rather own the followup? Yes of course.

Well it's really not my style, that's all. Can't stand one bit of it, honestly

Yes, Northwind's Northcomin' is about 100-150% overpriced, as far as this certain auction I posted is concerned. Flames? Even more so!

Is Mythology better? Definitely, but I believe that Northcomin' is one fine hard rocking LP. It seems to me that most people don;t like it because it is not "metal enough", which probably, in some cases, automatically places it outside their genre specified taste. On it's own merit, despite its rather apparent weaknesses, I believe it delivers the goods.

Liked the sound clips, but decided to sit this one out

I cannot breathe anymore..this one is the CRAZIEST ever....510 US$ for a NON metal record, simple rock. And how easy it seems to fool people with item descriptions and doing reviews of the records to sell on metalpage.de
Killer marketing :-)
The reocrd is regular rare, not ultrarare.
Just bought a copy for 1.99 pounds and sold another one lately for 60 € (with bad conscience being so expensive for that crap....) So a good marekting to write that only X copies exit, congrats to that Greek seller making money outta nothing.
