Very hard to beat the first 'Full Moon's Eyes' EP!

'Feelings Of Fury' is their best album IMO!

Basically what I wrote in the SAVAGE GRACE-thread. A new fave band in the last few years, at least as far as "Full Moon's Eyes" and "Exctasy & Danger" are concerned. It's funny how long I ignored E&D simply because it's such an extremely common, cheap-ass salesbin album. Just shows how your 'Obscure Metal'-fetish will sometimes work against you.

I was actually a bit disappointed when I finally got hold of it. "Samourai" is the only really great track there imo. Even "Too Hot" were better and certainly heavier.

"Vlad Strigoi" is probably the second best Ostrogoth track after "Full moon's eyes". I think it does deserve a second chance Dan.

They sound fairly linear to my ears. not much is happening, but reading what you say I shall give them more chances in the future.

My favorite song is Heroes Museum, but there seems to be an epic element only a few of us are picking up on here for some reason I've never found any of their albums boring or "linear" :?.

Full Moon's Eyes EP is a metal classic indeed! Great riffs, good production/sound and I love the vokills. Like someone said, one of the best Belgian bands, together with Acid.

"Too Hot" was the first album of the band I heard. I've dug the band ever since.

Full Moon's Eyes is one of the best records ever to come out of my country. I also like their other albums, even Feelings of Fury with Peter De Wint on vocals (Vlad Strigoï is one of their best songs!). Seems to be somewhat more rare than the other records, hardly see it offered. Maybe a lot of people think it isn't worth buying.

I unfortunately didn't see the reunion in 2002, but saw Rudy Vercruysse playing Full Moon's Eyes with Battleroar 1,5 year back, which was a great moment!

Are they still doing occational shows? Someone should bug the KIT-management to book these Euro-Metal masters.
