Could anyone load Paradoxx in the Poisonoise section? The only song I've heard by them is on a compilation and i remember it being pretty good. However, I remember a previous discussion of Pardaoxx resulted in very mixed reviews. Would like to hear it for myself; thanks if anyone can help

2000 Euro as a list price is by far the highest I've ever seen this album listed for. Popsike says that the highest ebay auction listing went for $1800.00 back in 2006. So this copy cost almost $3000.00.

There's a moto in Cyprus that says
"Απόξω του χωρού ξέρει πολλά τραούθκια"

Meaning "When someone is outside the Dance, he knows very much songs"

Why are you so easily offended?. All I was doing was comparing this to previous documented sales of the album. So far this is the most that I've heard this record going for.

All the power to you though if you have that kind of dow to throw around.

I want your job.

What's the going rate on this one by the way? I really want a copy but come to think of it I don't think I've ever seen one for sale.

Wasn't Paradoxx a 3.000€+ record on Swiss private lists? ;) I don't think that ebay works well for such mega rarities, it was said so in the past on this forum as well ... (for Paradoxx, Militia, Flames of Hell ...) I bet you would never get as much for original banned Ghost Busters single on ebay, as it was offered privately (that is $800+) ...

This could be true, however, lists are specifically priced at what the seller WANTS for the record, not what the actual record is worth. As much as ebay's auction system is bashed for whatever reason, it does act as a very good source for determining the actual value of an item. The record when auctioned on ebay is now availible to the general public and each person has the chance to enter the amount that they personally want to spend on the item.

Where did you hear that the banned cover version of the "Ghost Busters" single sold for $800? Is that what James paid for his? For that price, you would be better off getting a high res scan of the insert and having it duplicated professionally. The discs are after all the same anyways and if done on the right kind of paper, would not be any different then the original, haha...

That kind of stuff was discussed here in the past I believe. You can't really compare a really rare record (cca 50 copies) with the common ebay "rarities" ... Sure there were a couple of Paradoxx sold on ebay in the past few years but you never know when you might expect another one and if someone wants something as rare as this, then there are other rules ...

I don't know how much James paid for his copy, but it is indeed his copy in question here, he said once to me that he got an $800+ offer for it years ago but he didn't sell it simply because he has never seen it for sale anywhere at all.

The aren't many people who can afford and are willing to pay the really top prices and you need two of them on ebay to make a top price.

I didn't expect to see for example Impact going for $600.00 either though. Now of days when rare stuff pops up people take notice because the auctions are so easily accessible. There will always be competition between those that have the money to spare.

I paid 20GBP for mine. I think it usually goes for more, though it's definitely not as expensive as the S.O.S. 7".
