I totally do not agree. For me eastern european thrash slays. The vocals are practically all just perfect; the music is raw, and production is nearly always brillant.
I normally don't like US thrash that much. I've rarely heard 80's eastern european thrash that I didn't like. What would I do without my Turbo records?

East-Euro Thrash is indeed very hit & miss. The later the worse is usually true. By the early 90's far too many bands got influenced by the whole Bay Area sound (my pet peeve) and bored out...
Early KORROZIA METALLA ("Orden Satani" & "Russian Vodka"), QUO VADIS - s/t, FRONT - "Mortal Surgery" and HELLER will always remain some of my all-time fave Europen Thrash top-faves, while KRYPTOR, SHAH and later ARAKAIN failed to impress..
