would be nice to hear their unreleased Lp "Gates of Fortune" in a better quality. I have a copy of it but the rip is shite (and the music isn't as good as on the mini Lp: it's more commercial and melodic). It was produced by Steve Harris if i am not mistaken. I have a live show or two, i believe from 84. I'm trying to contact some people in Roma (mostly Maurizio of Fingernails) and see if i can get some of their demos/rehearsals/live pre-mini Lp.
This mini Lp had a very troubled history... recorded 2 years before the release date, it was constantly delayed because of some dishonest producers who tried to rip the band off by all means. The brothers Bianco were real top notch musicians by then, and Raff remained as the most beloved and famous heavy metal band in Roma. They practiced in a basement that was a meeting point for lots of other heavy metal bands and musicians of the early roman scene. Many bands practiced and recorded their home-made demos in the Raff's basement.. Next time i'll go to Roma i'll see if i can spot it
and hopefully try to get some old tapes recorded there...

I've listened this stuff. I liked it, but I thought it would be more in the line of the song ROCKERS. Hope that someone can upload the unreleased album too.
Also, now that jnfernal talked a little bit about Raff, maybe he could answer if there's any BERSERK stuff unreleased. I downloaded that album from a recommendation on the NOW PLAYING topic here on the corroseum, and I just can't stop listening to it.

yeah, it was produced by Steve Harris, not Di'Anno.. my bad.. i'm getting senile
. Some small roman bands had quite a good luck. I remember that another roman band of the time, Miss Daisy, was produced by Fast Eddie Clark and toured UK with Motorhead and Ramones. Of Berserks there are some demo/unreleased recordings but never surfaced for the band isn't too happy with their old stuff. There have been talks about a possible re-release of their old stuff, here including the debut Lp, but the band has always been firm on this point: nothing to do then. By the way, i asked some guys but it seems that T.I.R. never released any Ep.. just a demo. The band had a very short life and except for that demo, nothing else recorded
