French Heavy Metal!

Post by King Zombie »

I had always overlooked french bands, I must admit I had a prejudice towards that scene. I had previously heard two bands: Massacra and Thrust but they didn't caught my ears and decided afterwards not paying much attention to France. Some time later I downloaded Mutilated (A death band and a little hope grew on me) Recently, I just got Demon Eyes's 1984 album "Rites of Chaos"; I must say I was gladly impressed with the quality of their musicianship, excellent compositions and overall coherence.

So... Vous avez q'uelqun racommendation pour moi? :P

There is already a thread or two about the French scene including one in "Poisonoise" in regards to rare singles for your experimental convenience. The search feature works wonders.

The other one was on this page, about 20 threads below. Something which means that french metal was being discussed here not so long ago.
