ALIAS MANGLER - My first contribution!

Post by Moonchild »

[Edited the thread title to make it a bit more recognizable./Mod]

Today i present to you Alias Mangler - Bite The Metal LP from 1986. I used to trade cd's with this guy in California a few years ago and a few times he would throw in some extra goodies like cd-r's of demos and albums from a lot of bands that i had never heard of before; Alias Mangler, China Beach, Deathslayer, Dr. Know, Driver, Edwin Dare, Hatrik, Paradox(US), Risk, Slander, Stryken, Titan Force, Warzwolf, etc... I lost contact with him and i always wondered wtf happened to that guy.

Anyway, how do i describe this album, well it's decent US trad metal. I'm not particularly fond of the vocals but the music is pretty good. I'll add more stuff later when i have more time. Enjoy!

Interesting first upload. I remember hearing about this album a long time ago, but never did get the opportunity to hear it.

Thanks.

Thanks. So now I finally hear it, though I had heard it wasn't proper metal and so wasn't very interested anymore, well, it certainly is lightweight stuff without much balls. Still some people will try sell it as great US-Metal haha.

There are a couple of decent riffs in 2-3 songs, but the vocals kinda suck and generally this is a very average album.

But as daniel said, it may well be served as ''Great private US metal'' on ebay and that is when uploads such as this find their true meaning.
