From ex- Yugo there came also early death metal act Russian Winter (ca 1985/86). One member made also fanzine "Death Breath".

Edit: actually the zine was called "Death Speaks" (re-check done)

Possibly because at that point I wasn't caring much anymore about those Yugo bands

Odpadki Civilizacije, probably the same band that made it to "Hardcore Ljubljana" compilation LP in 1985?

I think it should be mandatory to upload everything that is mentioned in this thread. I'm drooling all over my keyboard, I need to hear that stuff.

It calls for an upload!
Man, I will try to, if Dan ever wants to help me out with that.

Holding the tape in my hand, but unfortunately the last season of Entourage just finished downloading so I have more important matters to attend to.

...and VELOURIUM has to go first in any case.

Poisonoise should have a "communist metal" thread. I've always been interested in listening to music done under such regimes. Just listen to Russian or Yugoslavian bands. The bands that existed both under communism and then democracy had done more interesting music in the old days, I think it has something to do with being extremely underground and even illegal.
Just in case I wanna make clear that I'm not making any political point one way or the other, just saying something I notice at a musical level.
