Medieval CD

Post by Cochino »

I've read that the Medieval CD is out now. It was released by New Reinassance Records and it contains the Medieval EP, the Medieval Kills! LP and three new songs.
If someone buys it, please let me (us) know how these new songs are. I've heard one they had in their site (Old School it was called I think) and it wasn't bad, but it wasn't THE MEDIEVAL I love. I hope the other new songs live up to expectations.

I'm a big Medieval sucker and the new tracks are just boring. Sad!

Shit, I'm very sad to hear that. Of course I didn't expect them to be as great as the classic stuff, but still I thought they might be good.

Yeah, nothing special. I think I liked one of the songs better than the other two, but I don't remember which one.

Of course, I'm a huge fan of their classic material, mainly the All Knobs To The Right tape, but all of the stuff they released is amazing, and they're a top 10 US metal band for me. I'm just disappointed to hear that about the new songs.

Sounds like these new bonus tracks are a prime example of stuff you wanna avoid in order to not tarnish your own image of a Great Band. Cheers for the warning.

Well, there are much worse examples of bands who have tarnished their image. The only thing they lost is that magic touch.

The CD might be interesting to have considering it has the early stuff. Someone should rerelease the demos as well.

As far as I know that's still in the works.

NRR still having the rights for the Medieval stuff and as far as I know the band´s having problems to release anything by themself.

Do they own the rights for all the demo's too? Didn't know that.

the last time I spoke with the band it wasn´t really clear.
Tommy told me that they had to figure it out with NRR.
but the band should held the rights for their demos, but who knows after all I´ve heard from NRR. hahaha
