Test your Metal!

Post by Helm »

I like this blog a lot http://testyourmetal.blogspot.com/ and I thought its premise was right up the Corsoseum's alley. There's a lot of unsolved ones so do try your hands, they're killing me!

Haha thanks Helm! I already think I cracked the oldest mystery photograph but only time will tell.

Fun stuff and great pictures.

Oh man, Nightlock. Cerebus?! A well of wisdom you are! Solve the other ones too! The dudes with the scarfs I must know!!!! I bet they're early progressive or technothrash.

I would have got the Griffin one too if someone didn't beat me to it! :x Not sure if I can get the other ones I'm curious to have a hit at the one you guessed was Sortilege but still not certain.

I've never would've thought they are mighty Cerebus! Uh I was thinking of something more amateur stuff.

Too Late To Pray is one of my US Metal favourites.

Funny, I was also thinking "these guys look Swedish" when I saw that photo. Not that I would ever spot the band (Sorcerer) though. In general I'm lousy w/ recognizing band members, both when it comes to pictures and names.

Actually my first thought was "Power Unit" for some reason. Guess they look like they sound that way, whatever that was... (I have their LP but can't remember anything of it, not even what they looked like)
