ORDER FROM CHAOS
Old death/thrash metal band from the USA. Today I received Stillbirth Machine on LP reissued recently by NWN (GREAT WORK!!!!). Only knew one demo and Helmkamp's work on the great Angelcorpse. Needless to say that I'm completely blown away by "Stillbirth Machine". How is it possible that I've never heard this before. Spinned this already 5 times in a row and I KNOW it will stay with me the rest of my life. It has this extreme furious edge, total raw death/thrashing terror. Ahhh, do I love that guitarsound. Everything falls into place here. Who else loves this?
Long Live The Loud !!!
Yeah, tis a great (old) one for sure. I was spinning this a lot back in the days. They are noisy and have sth that reminds me remotely of early VoiVod as well. Iamanalienfromanotherworld huaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaergh!!!!!!!!! Deranged as Angel Corpse will never be. Yup, that's the proper word.

I am ... the One you warned me of
I got this LP last week as well(the NWN! reissue). It definitely lives up to the praise that it receives. It's full of so much ferocity and rage..maybe ONE of the angriest records I have ever heard. The vocals are awesome too as someone already pointed out. I hadn't heard about it until a couple of months ago so I know exactly how you feel. Thankfully I didn't miss out on this reissue.

I have the version on wild rags and it's excellent chaotic and raw death metal and I agree with the VOIVOD referenced above. I also have their demo tapes "crushed infamy " and "will to power" as well as the "jericho trumpets" 7" and "the plateau of invincibility" 10". I never got "dawnbringer" back then. Excellent band!! and I was only looking at the NWN rereleases the other day and they look super indeed.
I was born on a dark winter night thunder and lightning greeted me...

I have both die-hards. The LP's are gatefold and come in a slipcase. You get the usual poster, patch and sticker.Noisenik wrote:Does the reissue include the original artwork in any form? Funny, Yosuke haven't stated what DH version includes this time.
The slipcase has a type of gold leaf print on it. You can see the picture here

I don't have the original so I don't know if the album cover is the same
