Listen up howdy people.This is simply the BEST Greek band ever!!!!(together with FLAMES of corpse).

This forgotten secret will be unleashed in the world quite soon.The bassist after 20 years decided to rerelease it independently.

The band hail from the city of Serres,Northern Greece=Macedonia.And they have released:

Macedon Harriers-Rise Again(demo 1987)
1)Sun Of Macedonia Will Rise Again
2)Weapons Of Holocaust
3)Infernal Exterminator
4)Killing Cure
5)Macedonia The Greece.

What they play?Speed Metal in the German mid80's way.The rawness,speed,riffs sometimes melodious sometime harsh.Madness!!!

The national anthem of Greece should be the tracks ''Macedonia The Greece'' or the ''Sun Of Macedonia Will Rise Again''.

All five songs are out of this world.And believe me you haven't heard better Greek band.

ION BRITTON gave me the mp3s and descibed them as the BEST Greek band ever.And he was absolutely right.
But better not spread it until it is rereleased in CD by the original Bass Player in some weeks.

You won't find technicity not high-pitched vocals,not crystal clear production but the passion and the originallity is there.

It is exactly my taste,simply i live for this kind of stuff.

Just a track out of the 5 hymns.For prehearing.

Really good stuff. Only the vocals are a slight flaw for me, they sound somewhat little bored, but the music is awesome.

The CD is out now. I'll speak with the bassist about the details on how to order it, if you're interested of course. Probably i will able to sent some copies out as well. It's privately released and it's price is 8 Euros.

Dan, i assume you forgot to buy it at KIT. Or did you buy it eventually? Anyway, what do you people think about the uploaded track?

Imo, this demo is one of the best of the Greek scene. Fucking Åmål's description was pretty accurate. It is raw, furious, epic and melodic at the same time. The vocals might disappoint some you and while it is true that they are not the best ever, they do work pretty well for this kind of stuff. Have also in mind that these are only some demo recordings, made with a quite small budget at a time when Greek heavy metal bands could be counted with the fingers of one hand. The demo was recorded in 1987 and it was not spread in public back then.

1000 copies are pressed, no problem keeping one for ya 'till you are able to place an order. To be honest, i don't think it will be easily sold out, at least not in the next 6 months, but you never know. 50 copies gone so far...

Yes the singer has some similarities with Ola Ohlsson from Gotham City:They both sound simple/straight/low-pitched/aggressive and great.Exactly how it should be.

Postage for Europe is 3.5 Euros, 5.5 Euros outside Europe. For registered package add 2 more Euros, recommended for peace of mind.

I got the CD yesterday and the first impression is really positive. Some damn catchy stuff to be found here and the vocals don't detract from the experience at all.
