I've listened this tape through once now. My favourite tracks are Games Of The World with it's cool Maidenisque riff and Evil Soul which is pretty straightforward and packed with a great catchy chorus. The way I like my Heavy Metal.
I will definitely give this tape more listens along with some other demos that I've lately got the chance to hear.

Have this demo quite a while now and absolutely killer stuff!!! I mentioned in another thread that many demo bands from Sweden at the time released even better material than some of the albums of the time and this is a perfect example!!

I think the other demo from Insane is also a RIPPER, maybe even more than this.
It's sad that many of these great bands never got a chance to record an LP while some of those really disgusting poser bands were getting all the attention. It's too bad that real straightforward, uncompromising & honest heavy metal is often so overlooked. When I think of the swedish scene I don't think of Europe

All the tracks are exactly equal. All hymns no fillers.steelegacy wrote:Great demo indeed!!!i heard this demo when i was into tape trading and i was stuck on that for a long time..nwobhm-ish sound and there is that track that kills ,i dont remember the title right now but its the best for sure
The band must been under 18 when have recorded this demo. You can hear that by the voice of the singer.
Of course that is the truth.Bands like Insane,Jonah Quizz,Verdict,Rubycon,Highlight,Exist are by far better bands and heavier than of let's say Glory Bells,Malmsteen,Europe,Heavy Load...nar marratuk wrote:Have this demo quite a while now and absolutely killer stuff!!!
