Sacrilege Demo 1987 Italy(post-Black Hole)

Post by doomedplanet »

Since I know there are some Black Hole maniacs here I am sharing my upload from thrashmageddon.

Sacrilege Demo 1987 Italy

1. Endless Rain
2. Demon Woman
3. Siel
4. Sacrilege
5. Voodoo Ritual

Some more obscure Italian doom, post- Black Hole. Creepy cobwebs and haunted dungeons evoked from these tunes. Deluge did you share this with me in the beginning? If so a big thank you for this.

Deadly man, deadly. I already burt it on cd and it kills. Perhaps it is not as complex as Black Hole, but still great stuff. Thanx

Are there members of Black Hole in this band? Because I was checking the MA and the only connection between BH and another one is with Epitaph (from Italy of course). And it says that Sacrilege is heavy metal, but we all know the doubtful MA policy on genres.
Maybe I'll request something of Epitaph, since it seems also interesting.

Terrific!!
I'm only just listening to the first track but my hopes are really high if the other songs are as deadly!

I think the simplicity (compared to black hole, in no way this is your average hm) really works here and I can sure hear traces of Black Hole in several places. The music brings in mind me some of those Black Hole demo cuts a little bit. Great post, thanks for doomedplanet!

I cannot find lineup info anywhere but "Demon Woman" is the same riff/song as "Demoniac city" restructured, listen to them back to back and convince me this is not true.
PS I have the 1st Epitaph demo that I also got from Salvo, I'll up load it eventually. I would like to find the others...

Yeah, this is a great tape - BLACK HOLEish but with a more Classic HM approach. The issue of EPITAPH came up before and I'm still dying to hear them. No info whatsoever on either bands at Strillostrano though :(

Yeah, this is pretty cool! Still kinda doomy but moving into more traditional metal territory than Black Hole. The Epitaph demo sounds heavier/darker to me, at least on first impression. Regardless, this is pretty good!
