I really really like the "Mob Rules" album, expecially "Over and Over" and "Falling of the edge of the world" songs.

I think its very underrated, so here's my 5 cents :)

One thing that I find odd is how some metal people don't like the song "paranoid" at all. It's not the best BS song and yes it may be "overplayed" too but I can't see how anyone can dislike it. :)

It's like Breaking the Law to me I have heard it so many times and it's that kind of basic radio friendly kind of song. I like both songs but there would be times when I couldn't stand listening to either.

Sweet Leaf. I used to love that song. The riff is HUGE but the lyrics are stupid, stupid, stupid.
I couldn't agree more about that song's lyrics. Total shit. Those lyrics, along with those of After Forever, are so fucking bad I can't even respect Sabbath. I'm serious!

I understand that but some people never liked the song. Not even when they heard it the first time. I know a couple metalheads who dislike Iron Man too :D Well taste varies.. Some don't like Sabbath at all.

I find it hard to listen to 'War Pigs' these days, only because so many bands have done terrible covers of it!
Faith No More for example!!!

Yeah for sure, way too many gay non-metal/bad metal bands took inspiration from Sabbath. I guess it just shows they transcend metal.

Fortunately I haven't heard many Black Sabbath covers! :D
And yes! Black Sabbath - S/T is magnificent. Probably the best one they did even though I find it hard to pick one album over all the others.

You know, it's funny you mention that. Grunge, stoner rock, nu-metal... all influenced by Sabbath. But the only real metal bands with a prominent Sabbath influence are doom metal bands. It's weird that they had a bigger influence on mainstream bands than on metal.
