Taramis
Taramis
Thank you thank you thank you to who it was that first suggested this record to me in here. It's not exactly technothrash (I'd say early progressive metal with the odd agressive riff really) but it's really classy. I am listening to it a lot lately. Like a cross of Fates with early Queensryche with the Energetic Disassembly riff here and there. I have two requests to anyone that could fulfill them. I am looking for the lyrics of this lp and I haven't had much luck. Second, I am very interested in their 1987 release also but I haven't seen it anywhere in soulseek and I've been looking quite patiently for a while. If anyone has a rip that'd be awesome. Even if someone has heard the LP if they could give me opinions if it's worth searching for, that'd do as well.
Well, I suggest that you go to
, register, be thankful and enjoy (or suffer).
As for Stretch, I have a vinyl, lyricsheet, but no scanner.

So it's the 2nd album you've got now then? Haven't heard it, but reviews haven't been too favourable. Got a weak spot for truly original ProgMetal so maybe I'll pick it up next time it turns up. I remember seing plenty of dirt-cheap copies at the KIT metal markets.
About the debut, "Queen Of Thieves":
Early Queensrÿche/Maiden/Fates Warning-style classic/classical Metal, great songwriting but the vocalist goes out of tune on a track or 2. There's 2 pressings of this album, an Aussie one on Metal For Melbourne and one on a well known major label, forgot which one. None of them are particularily rare, so you shouldn't have too much trouble finding a copy. The Aussie pressing comes with a lyricsheet - dunno about the other version..

Saw them live many times & they were brilliant.
Joel now lives in New Zealand & I speak to George every now & then.
Nice guys, great band.
The US pressing is on Metal Blade (LP only), apparently some Italian label is going to re-issue both albums tho'?? Probably boots more like it?
'Lonely Star' is a superb track
