collecting vintage metal magazines

Post by Keir »

This is something I've been thinking about a lot recently. I don't think I'd ever really "collect" them, but it would be nice to have some bathroom reading material. So, does anyone have any advice on getting some?

Any particular magazines to look for? They don't have to be ultra-rare cult crap or anything. Even mainstream ones will do.

Where should I look besides eBay? In all my years of scouring flea markets and thrifts, I don't think I've seen anything.

Just looking at the covers of some of these makes me feel like I would pay top dollar to get my hands on them.

Especially the earlier issues of "hot rockin" magazine!

For the French speaking people, check this excellent site :

http://france.metal.museum.free.fr/

They have (among others) full scans of old Metal Attack and Enfer magazine.
