Were the band very different stylistically in their previous incarnation as Black Trip? Don't think i ever heard them.

Style is the same, only a little bit more of MAIDEN among ingredients.

Thanks for the info, sounds like i need to do my Black Trip homework.
This is the only album by the Spanish Lone Star i've heard, and i'm enjoying it. I'd been led to think by something i'd read that this one was in the 'proto-metal' mould, and whilst they do have that in their sound, i'm actually finding the Hard Rock meets Prog-Rock material later in the record most enjoyable. Interesting song structures and some really catchy guitar parts & impressive playing. Knowing a little of your tastes I think you might enjoy it. Check yr PMs.
