Sadly, not a trace of Metal on this one either.
Instead we get lengthy prog-rock tracks with a style that's roughly comparible to Flock's 'Dinosaur Swamps' album.
Some good guitar playing, (and nifty flute & horns if you like that sort of thing), but the vocals are weak & the production is iffy.
There seems to be some kind of concept linking the songs, but i've no real clue what it's all about.
The sleeve deserved better.

If i had to guess the records musical style just going by that cover alone i'd have expected some Psych perhaps, but for some reason the thing it makes me think of most are the confectionaries from the original 'Charlie & The Chocolate Factory' film.

Demon & Wizard - Evil Possessor (1982) France



The band name, album title, artwork, year of release & song titles all point to this being a worthwhile listen but that's sadly not the case.
Instead it's some weird combination of folk guitars & droning dark sounding analog synthesizers. When it works it's pretty atmospheric & psychedelic in a very off-kilter fashion, but for the other 85% of the record it's grating amateur hour nonsense.
Be forewarned.
