BLACKLIST (US-TX) - Put To Rest '96 Private Thrash for sale!

Dear friends,


We are happy to announce that we are able to distribute the last copies of a little known US Thrash metal cd from Texas. We're talking about the "Put To Rest" cd by the band Blacklist released back in 1996 in 1000 copies.

The band formed in 1993 with obvious influences from bands like Sepultura, Slayer, Sacred Reich, Machine Head etc. They released the full-length tape "Total Control" in 1994 which is their best release (someone "smart" from archives changed it to 1986 (!) recently). The tape is listed as a 3-track demo tape which is wrong anyway. 2 years later the band released their silver pressed "Put To Rest" cd in 1000 copies. In 1999 they released a 3rd release (again on cd format) in a more extreme/modern way (unfortunately) & then came the silence... What we have here is the last bunch of copies left from 1996 BUT there's something more. Around 100 copies of those 1000 had a misprint on the backcover (between 2nd and 3rd song - "Strands Of Time" is the 2nd song & "Swallow" the 3rd song - the misprint back cover has a different order). So we have the remaining little stock of those few cds left with the misprint... Check the cover below & especially the samples because you won't find them anywhere...
