People on this forum search for cool unknown bands, right? Does anyone of you know an old Estonian Heavy Metal legend called Gunnar Grapsi Grupp (G.G.G.)? If yes , then what do you think of it? This band is legendary in Estonia and their best years were 1986-89. In 1988 label Melodija released LP called "Põlemine" ("The Burning"). This is good Heavy Metal abum, sung in Estonian. I know that at least in Finland some people also apreciate this band and I have traded some copies to Germany too some years ago.

Funny, I picked it up in one of these fleamarkets/charity shops in Stockholm this weekend for about 2 euros. A really nice surprise. I was expecting a more soft/"dated" sound a la BLACK COFFEE/AUGUST but it turned out to be heavier, more original and better than expected. According to a friend their earlier work is more 70's sounding. Any 2nd opinions?deathster wrote:People on this forum search for cool unknown bands, right?
