I've only listened to it one time, and I was quite deceived... I'll give it an other chance tomorrow.

I'm loving the Dekapitator album. i saw them at their record release show last week and they were fucking great! easily the best of the recent new thrash bands. they kinda remind me of a mix of Shell Shock, Possessed, and Sacrifice. "Run with the Pack" totally seems like it could be on the Crest of Black or Tears albums.
killer solos too!

I've only listened to it three times, but so far it sucks. Tiger! Tiger! and Dearg Doom are pretty good songs, but overall, the album seriously lacks energy and excitement. I knew that they would be hurt by John Cobbett's departure, but this was worse than I expected.

listening to them right now. Just heard very good harmonized bridge (prior to solo) on "Toxic Sanctuary".

2007:

PAGAN ALTAR "Mythical & Magical"
HELVETETS PORT "Exodus to Hell" (if it gets released this year)
SIGH "Hangman's Hymn"
GUNS N' ROSES "Chinese Democracy" (probably, if it finally comes out now - the six leaked studio tracks rule)
ANGEL CORPSE "Of Lucifer and Lightning"
DEATHSPELL OMEGA "Fas - Ite, Maledicti in Ignem Aeternum"
KATALYSATOR "Mass Genocide Ritual" demo
NECROS CHRISTOS "Triune Impurity Rites"

About the new King Diamond album, I dunno; the titletrack is great, but aside one or two more there's not much that has exactly gotten stuck in my head this far.
Haven't yet heard the new Candlemass.
Sarcofagus "Core Values" just sounded weird and difficult...

I just got it & it's not very good. Production is weak & the drums are horrible, it's all a bit too predictable for the King now :(

Pagan Altar's Mythical & Magical came at the end of 2006, right?
So far it could be even the best metal album of this decade for me.

The new disks of DOOMSWORD and ATLANTEAN KODEX are simply excellent.

But the new REVEREND BIZARRE turned out to be a bit of a letdown. :?
Chroming Rose “Pressure” LP found! :D

I'm quite enjoying the new Diamond Head.

And so far Chain Reaction - All Over The World is up there too.

Yea, wtf, guess I was tired or something, as this was even dealt with on the first page of the thread. Well, no matter what year, it's one Hell of an album of course. But personally I like "Lords of Hypocrisy" even more I think.
