EPIC IRAE (Sweden) - One Cloudy Day (demo tape 1991)

Post by GJ »

Here's the second demo from Epic Irae! Heavier than the first one, more aggressive and melodic. Hey, this one doesn't make me cringe!

Guess the fact that we got a letter from some guy from Dark Tranquility praising this one at the time* makes us the source of the Gothenburg sound (whatever that is, says the ignorant but humble farmer boy Göran) haha! No, but yes - we had overdosed on Iron Maiden, Celtic Frost, Fates Warning, Bathory, Manilla Road and Black Sabbath and then did it our way.

Here's the link:

Enjoy! This time.

*Sorry! But that's about the only sign of encouragement we got at the time.

Thanks a lot for these. As I said before, I hope these can see release on LP or CD at some date later. Especially since it would make my gf very happy.
I know I ain't doing much,

Good demo !! I really enjoyed the crossover between thrash/death/heavy/doom ... Lots of different influences, the mix between all these is very well done ! Thanks for sharing !!
